Model:
All Peugeot models with AL4 automatic transmission.
Problem:
Open circuit in any of the shift control valves.
This is indicated by the transmission being in LIMP HOME MODE.
A transmission fault warning to the driver.
Fault code stored in the transmission ECU.
Possible Causes:
Bad connection in the ECU connector, bad connection in the gray 33 way connector on the transmission,
break in wire or faulty valve.
Solution:
Pins in both connectors are removable and can be repaired.
Join broken wires or replace the harness.
Replace faulty shift valves.

Terminal 1 is positiv supply for all shift valves.
Resistance for shift valves is is 40 Ω ± 2
Resistance for EVM and EVLU: 1.1 Ω ± 2
