Radio goes silent on braking.

Model:
Peugeot 307CC.

Symptoms:
The radio looses volume or goes completely silent every time the foot brake is applied.

Cause:
Short circuit from the eye level brake light to the radio antenna.
The radio antenna in the 307CC is integrated in the rear spoiler mounted on the boot lid.
In this instance it was found that one of the brake light wires was trapped between the
boot lid's outer skin and the spoiler, causing an electric current to be sent down the antenna
wire during braking.

Solution:
Removed the spoiler, insulated and rerouted the brake light wires.
