Peugeot 306. All models.

Cause:

1. Faulty mixer flap reduction motor. The problem can be in the motor or in the gearbox.
2. The hexagonal drive in the adaptor plate between the motor and the flap is worn out

Solution:
Replace the reduction motor and the adaptor plate.

A reduction motor and the adaptor plate can be purchased. Part number: P6447.C7
Please check with your parts supplier if this part is correct for your vehicle.

A few tips for doing the job:

• Removal of the dash and the heater unit is NOT required
• On most models it is necessary to remove the centre console
• The motor and the flap position need to be synchronized. This part can be a bit tricky.
