Model: 306 XSI
Symptoms: Clicking or knocking noise at engine load change.
If a noise can be heard that is symptomatic of a broken engine mount, but the mounting is
found intact, then it is advisable to remove the mount and inspect the area
around the captive nut in the chassis for cracks.
Although we believe this problem could occur on any 306 model, so far we have only found it on
several 306 XSI Models.
